The Murals of La Jolla Annual Parking Lot Party to thank Mural Makers, Mural Members and Wall Sponsors took place on October 2nd at our latest mural by June Edmonds’, Ebony on Draper and Girard, which honors and remembers female trailblazers and highlights historical African American contributions and influences in La Jolla. Guests enjoyed a sunny fall afternoon complete with live music, wine from Milagro Winery, and hors d’oeuvres from Giuseppe Fine Catering. The festive event featured a lovely speech by the artist while guests toasted the accomplishments and longevity of the project. Maryanne and Irwin Pfister, Wall Sponsors for June's mural, also graciously underwrote the 2021 Parking Lot Party.
