Parking Lot Party - 2025
Murals of La Jolla hosted its Annual Parking Lot Party on Sunday, October 19, at the site of Jim Isermann’s new mural Never Turn Your Back On The Ocean. The event took place on the basketball court within the student living corridor of Eleanor Roosevelt College at UC San Diego.
Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres by Saltaire, catering by UC San Diego Dining, and festive cocktails by Snake Oil Cocktail Co. The evening also featured a special a cappella performance by Daughters of Triton from the UCSD Triton A Cappella Community.
Jim Isermann, the mural’s artist and special guest of the evening, joined Jessica Berlanga Taylor, UCSD Chief Campus Curator, and Taylor Chapin, Executive Director of Murals of La Jolla, in sharing remarks.
The evening celebrated Murals of La Jolla’s newest collaboration with UC San Diego and offered a heartfelt thank-you to the artists, donors, and supporters who continue to make the project’s mission possible.
